About PROMISE
Founded and offered annually since 1992, the PROMISE program is a ten-week paid internship which provides opportunities in state, local government agencies, and university programs for Oregon State University undergraduate students, with particular emphasis on providing pathways for historically underrepresented students to professional careers.
In alignment with OSU’s goal 1 of the 2014-2018 strategic plan: “Transformative Educational Experience,” the PROMISE program is rooted in a commitment to “support intellectual, professional and personal development to prepare Oregon State graduates for responsible and productive citizenship in a global society.”

My core values, if you notice is spelt out as an acronym for FIERCE. These values is what I hold true to, as my identities has been evolving over the years and what I have found as salient to me. They are what I believe at the end of the day & what I try to achieve in the spaces that I get the opportunity to be a part of. They are what I think about on the daily basis and what I try to be at the same time....being FIERCE.
